Karriem Joyner is the Founder & CEO of M.A.R.Y. Outreach Organization. He is a passionate advocate for trauma-impacted youth, dedicated to improving their lives through education and mentorship. With a background in social work, he understands the importance of trauma-informed care, support and resources to help young individuals overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Karriem's tireless efforts and vision for a brighter future make him a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change in the lives of today's youth.

Who We Are

What We Do

Youth Outreach

From preschool-age children to high school adolescents, M.A.R.Y. Outreach is meeting individuals where they are, with a trauma informed approach. Whether it is going inside their schools, reaching them within their neighborhoods, or even in their homes, we are working side by side with caregivers to lend a hand where needed!

Community Building

At M.A.R.Y. Outreach, we believe that strong communities start with building alliances with other grassroots organizations that serve the community in other ways. We are committed to creating a sense of belonging and unity within our community through various initiatives and programs that promote collaboration and cultural continuity.

Mentorship

It is said that "A child without a mentor, is like an explorer without a map." We believe that mentorship is a key component in guiding youth towards a successful future. Here at M.A.R.Y. Outreach, we offer programs to support and guide our youth through their journey of personal and professional growth. Our big brother, big sister partnership component. Allows our youth to pair-up with and model their life after someone that is a “positive influencer.”

This positive influencer is someone that will meet our youth where they’re at. By dedicating time and supporting their growth and development. Setting good examples and empowering our youth through knowledge, esteem building
